Not only does our organization provide a much-needed creative outlet for these populations, we enhance the sense of community by bringing beauty into people’s lives. Our workshops and classes educate the individual in not only how to see, but more importantly, in how to appreciate the beauty of the world around them. Through the language of art, individuals can learn to express themselves in a positive and meaningful manner. The skills they learn increase their personal confidence and confirm their inner self-worth. These classes provide a much needed opportunity to learn and create, fostering a sense of individual accomplishment. Art becomes their passport to a better world, and a better life.
